IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO CARE

We believe that education is the base to equality.

Some kids like Sandra Milena, Darcy and Nestor, walk everyday between 1 and 2 hours to get to school.

With 32% of kids living in rural areas, distance is a key dropout factor.

Bikes are a simple yet effective solution to drive assistance and continuity in kids education.

Acompañame a la escuela has donated 1944 bikes and 2600 pairs of shoes.

Founded by a group of Colombian entrepreneurs, led by a shopping mall in Bogota, this non-profit organization donates bicycles and shoes to underprivileged school going children in rural areas so that they can reduce the time they spend on their way to school and back

paying fairly changes lives

Today, many small producers are forced to abandon their lands or plant other crops because coffee no longer allows to cover their basic needs. This has caused the average age of coffee growers in Colombia to be above 60, and unless something is done, there are little chances that the new generations will fill in their boots.

We buy directly from producers and we pay above fair trade prices. We do this, because it is the right thing to do and because these coffees are in a class of their own.
